SCAD Mentorship Program for Interpreters (MPI)

It is the mission of the South Carolina Association for the Deaf Mentorship Program to provide research-based skills development to current and future interpreters in our state while fostering a connection between interpreting professionals in the program and the community they serve.
The overall goal of the Deaf Mentorship Program is to foster interpreting skills and competency across the state, not to mentor-to-testing with any specific assessment or organization in mind.

The SCAD-MPI is not an Interpreting Training Program, advanced ASL class, or preparation for just one specific assessment.
The SCAD-MPI IS an intense and structured mentorship curriculum that requires significant investment from participants.
